ZENONIA 1 Map and Region Route

Quick answer
- Ayles and Adonis anchor the opening

- Use the walkthrough for room-level triggers

Campaign Map at a Glance
ZENONIA 1 uses connected towns, fields, lakes, caves, and seal regions. Read the route as a chain of service hubs and objective spaces: towns prepare the next leg, fields connect regions, and caves or seal areas hold progression gates.
| Campaign stage | Main chain | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | Ayles to East Ayles to Garlic Lake to Cori Woods | Early jobs, training, and the route to Adonis |
| First seal | Adonis to South of Adonis to Cave of Deceit | Guild work, preparation, and the first seal dungeon |
| Despise route | Hades to East Hades Snowfields to Sky Bridge to Valley of Despise | Snowfield travel and the route-specific guardian |
| Later seals | Chronos, the desert, Libra Oasis, and the remaining seal regions | Midgame services, dungeons, and late-campaign travel |
The Steam demo allowed free exploration around Adonis. The launch version continues through the complete story, so Adonis is an early hub rather than the end of the map.
Follow the Region Chain
- Finish Ayles business, then leave through East Ayles.
- Cross Garlic Lake and enter Cori Woods for the early story task.
- Return through Garlic Lake and continue to Adonis.
- Use South of Adonis for training and the route to the Cave of Deceit.
- After the first seal, use Hades, its eastern snowfields, and Sky Bridge to reach Despise.
- Continue through Chronos, the desert, Libra Oasis, and the later seal regions as the campaign opens them.
This chain tells you which region comes next. If the correct exit stays closed, the blocker is likely a quest report, NPC, key, switch, or earlier room. The full campaign walkthrough owns those action-level triggers.
Use Towns as Reset Points
Treat every town as a reset point before the next field chain. Report to the guild, hand in completed jobs, repair equipment, restock food and recovery items, then read the current quest guide before taking an exit.
| Expected state | Progress check |
|---|---|
| The town objective is complete | The quest guide changes or the next destination is named |
| Gear is ready | Equipped items are repaired and current supplies cover the next field |
| The route gate is cleared | A previously blocked exit, key door, or dungeon path becomes usable |
| The wrong path was tested | Returning to the hub reveals the missed report or hand-in |
New players should pair this loop with the first-save survival plan, especially before the Cave of Deceit.
Watch the Opening Geography
The playthrough below shows the Ayles-area rhythm: finish town work, cross fields and Garlic Lake, use local services, and move toward the next story region. It is historical footage, so use it for geography rather than current Steam UI or balance values.

If the Next Exit Does Not Open
| Current symptom | Minimum next check |
|---|---|
| You reached the named region but no route opens | Return to the current town and report to the guild |
| A dungeon door remains locked | Recheck the prior room for a key, block switch, or required scene |
| The quest guide still names the old area | Finish the local hand-in or NPC conversation before traveling |
| A route-specific boss does not match the plan | Check the good or evil route decisions before continuing |
Avoid solving a quest-trigger problem by wandering farther into unrelated fields. First compare the expected state with the visible quest guide, then retrace only the previous hub or dungeon room.
Choose the Next Reference
Use this page when the question is geographical: where a town sits in the campaign, which field chain connects two hubs, or which seal region comes next. Use the walkthrough for objective order and the boss roster and fight checks once a dungeon route ends at an encounter.
Map Scope for the Steam Version
The region chain follows the preserved complete campaign. Current Steam quest guidance, interface, and balance can differ from historical releases, so this page avoids old coordinates, exact room counts, and unsupported map labels. It keeps only the route connections needed to choose the next area.
