Prepare Before Every Arena

A boss fight begins at the last repair screen, not at the arena door. Use the same repeatable check before every encounter.

  1. Quick Save before crossing the final room boundary.
  2. Repair equipped gear and remove any avoidable durability risk.
  3. Restore hunger and carry healing for the full fight.
  4. Equip current-region gear and skills that can be used with the available SP.
  5. Identify whether the fight is a puzzle, a timing test, or direct pressure before spending resources.

If a boss overwhelms you, check preparation and the fight mechanic before grinding. Historical level and potion targets do not prove readiness in the Steam balance.

Puzzle and Timing Fights

Pale cannot be treated as a normal damage race. Move stones onto all three corner switches; only then should sustained damage become the priority. Zombies are the distraction, while the switches are the actual gate.

Ghost of Ladon and Ladon reverse that problem. Their protected periods punish constant attacking, so preserve SP and move until the vulnerable recovery or head window appears. The campaign walkthrough places each encounter in route order; this page owns the arena check.

Alignment Boss Swaps

Good-aligned runs meet Vicious at Despise and Virulent at Shame. Evil-aligned runs meet Vague and Lady Charity. If the guardian does not match the planned path, review the good or evil route choices before pushing farther.

Both route pairs reward health control and deliberate counterattacks. The identity changes with alignment, while current numeric damage and HP should be judged inside the Steam fight.

Use the Right Route Context

Boss tactics cannot repair a missing quest trigger. Use the map and region chain when the arena cannot be reached, and compare the three class roles when positioning or SP use is the recurring failure.

Steam Balance Boundary

The launch version preserves the complete story and boss structure while changing combat balance and interface feedback. Historical guides remain useful for roster order, puzzle logic, and broad attack windows. Their exact HP, level, damage, and potion counts should not be presented as current requirements.
